friendly money advice and budgeting service to meet the
needs of our clients.
- Help families and individuals to set
priorities for dealing with their debt problems as a
step to becoming financially independent.
- Liaise with voluntary and social
organisations in the area to provide the public with
a thorough and coordinated money advice and budgeting
service.
- Assist families and individuals to
acquire skill in budgeting and money management.
- Educate families and individuals
of the cost of borrowing from moneylenders and contrast
it with the low cost credit options available to them.
- Run information sessions on the service
and provide Community Education Programmes to promote
sensible money management and publicise our core service
of working on a one to one basis with clients.
- Build an integrated support system
for our clients by developing a strong working relationship
with statutory, voluntary and other service providers.

and practice at local and national level that will eliminate
poverty and indebtedness
